We all need a little bit of refreshment from time to time – for body, soul and spirit. Life with God is in constant motion, and there is no reason to stand still when there is so much to grow in! Throughout the year we organize courses and conferences with one common goal: to equip you to grow as a person – in faith, relationships and everyday life. We offer courses that provide insight into personal development, relationships, faith and finances – and even Norwegian courses for those who want to strengthen their language. In addition, we invite you to conferences where we set aside plenty of time to seek God, share your faith and build community with others. No matter what you are going through, we hope you will find something that gives you a little bit of refreshment right where you are in life.
Teleios is Greek and means whole/mature - and that is precisely the goal: to help us grow more mature and whole as people. Teleios consists of three courses with plenary teaching and group work, where we practice the skills we learn.
Course 1: Relationship Building
- listening with warmth, empathy and respect
The basic course provides an introduction to listening with warmth, empathy and respect, as well as problem ownership. The course will help you to have more healthy and more genuine relationships. It will give you a better relationship with other people, yourself and God. The goal is for you to become better at communicating with work colleagues, friends and family. The course will give you concrete tools and practical help, while at the same time being a prerequisite for personal growth and development in other Teleios courses.
Course 2: Courageous communication
- Speaking the truth in love
Courageous communication is about being honest with yourself and others. Is it possible to confront others in a concrete, personal and direct way while showing care and love? You'll also learn how to avoid getting defensive to a greater extent and how to give constructive feedback. By being credible and courageous, you can also help others to take responsibility for their lives.
Course 3: Personal Growth
-true thought, healthy life
This course combines truths from God's Word with insights from cognitive theory, which emphasizes that we humans have the ability to shape our lives through our thinking. The theory states that the thoughts we have are expressed in emotions and actions. The course will teach you how to change lying thoughts into true thoughts, which in turn leads to more appropriate emotions and healthier behaviors.

Is there anything more than this life I live now? Why do I not feel loved? What exactly is the meaning of life? Why do I find that life can seem hopeless at times?
Alpha are gatherings where you as a participant can explore the meaning of life and faith in God—along with others. Each gathering has an engaging input on video, and we set up conversations about faith that are meant to inspire you.
Here it is allowed to come just as you are, regardless of what faith you already have. We want to hear your story and your experiences, where no questions or opinions are too provocative. Are you curious? What do you have to lose?!
Millions around the world have already participated in an Alpha course and recently the course has become available online. IMI Church is setting up courses for couples planning to get married. The course runs over five evenings and is designed to help couples gain a stronger foundation for lasting marriage. The course covers the following topics: Expressing feelings and learning to listen, the importance of commitment and commitment, conflict resolution, talking about goals and values, keeping love alive and developing a satisfactory sexual relationship. We believe that this type of course will be of great importance to the individual couple, and we want a course form that is both relevant and provides maximum benefit.

IMI Church is organizing the "Relationship/Marriage Course - 7 Evenings to Be 2", for all couples who want to build a strong foundation for a healthy relationship that lasts a lifetime! The starting point is that good relationships can be even better. Everyday life can often become so hectic for many that one can be in danger of forgetting each other for periods, in addition to the fact that each couple consists of two units with different needs, history and values.
The course consists of 7 evenings with food, teaching and time for you as a couple to talk together about the relevant topics. The teaching will focus on the following topics: Building a strong foundation, the art of communication, conflict management, the importance of forgiveness, relationships with parents and in-laws, a good sex life and love in practice.
The course is held alternately physically and digitally.

Welcome to IMI Language School!
At IMI Språkskole we offer 100 study places divided into three levels, and with a dedicated team of over 25 teachers, you will receive personal follow-up and support on your way to mastering Norwegian. We are here to help you use all the Norwegian words you already know, and those you want to learn along the way.
New courses start on the first Monday in September and February, and we recommend that you register early – our courses often get fully booked 1–3 months before they start!

Impuls is a youth conference for teenagers throughout Norway. It is held in Stavanger and Trondheim. Here we come together to celebrate and worship God, and all that He is and does! IMI Guidance Center has periodically run a course package consisting of various courses in guidance and pastoral care. Topics that have been addressed include: self-esteem, image of God, faith history, shame and guilt, and forgiveness. The course is organized with plenary teaching, group work, reflection and skills training.
The goal has been to equip people to become good conversation partners.
The course extends over approximately 1 year (three weekends).
