Welcome as a confirmation candidate in IMI Church!
Confirmation time is an exciting phase with many important choices, and we want to give our confirmands the very best. At IMI Church, we ensure that the confirmation year is a good combination of safe fellowship, inspiring role models, and a close encounter with Jesus.
We meet every Thursday from 7–9 pm for teaching, discipleship groups, socializing, and supper. During the year, we also travel for an autumn weekend and participate together at Impuls – an unforgettable youth festival with Jesus at the center.
We look forward to getting to know you and going through a meaningful and fun confirmation year together.
You don't have to be a member of IMI Church to be confirmed with us – in fact, many of our confirmands are not members. Many begin their confirmation period without knowing anyone before, and that's perfectly fine. With us, there is room for you to come just as you are, regardless of your faith or background.
Confirmation is a confirmation of baptism, and therefore one must be baptized before the actual day of confirmation. If this is a challenge, we are happy to have a good and open conversation to find a solution together.

Confirmation Service 2026 is Saturday, May 9th at 12:00pm.
Confirmation Service 2027 is Saturday, May 8th at 12:00pm.
Confirmation Service 2028 is Saturday, May 13th at 12:00pm.
When we restarted the confirmation work in IMI Church in 2012, there were several confirmation candidates who wanted to continue after their confirmation year. It was a simple "yes" from us - and that's how K2 was created. Then K3, K4 and K5 followed, and in the spring of 2018 we also started Pre-K for 8th graders.
These groups build on the same good foundation as the confirmation period: safe communities, honest conversations about faith, and leaders who cheer you on. Many find that relationships become even deeper and unity stronger as you progress through the K-course.
We meet on Thursdays from 7–9 pm at IMI Church for discipleship groups, input, and social fellowship – and trips are also arranged throughout the year.

These groups are open to all young people – regardless of where you were confirmed or what your background is. Here is an overview:

Here you will find the registration link for the school year 2025/26.
We have our own youth services on Saturdays at 19:30 in the basement of IMI. Here we worship God together, get input and are challenged and equipped for what happens the rest of the week. After the meeting, there are various social events where we have fun together.

JOIN Lovsang and JOIN Teknisk are two teams that meet on Tuesdays for practices and meetings. JOIN Lovsang meets from 6-9 pm, and JOIN Teknisk meets from 7-9 pm. Both teams meet at IMI Church. These teams help set up and facilitate JOIN G18 on Sundays.
The focus is on fellowship and having fun together, while developing the gifts God has given. If you have some musical ability or find technical things fun, this is a fantastic place to join! Throughout the year, various events are organized in JOIN such as Take-off, movie night, Christmas ball and summer party. Here the doors are wide open for anyone who wants to join. The focus is on community and having fun together.
In addition, we travel on autumn weekends and ski weekends, in addition to contributing to IMPULS and Åpen Himmel Youth Camp.
